The agreement

These terms are between you and [—], [—]. Using the tools means accepting them. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.

Your account

An account is optional and free. You must give a working email address, keep your password to yourself, and be old enough to enter a contract where you live. You are responsible for what happens under your account until you tell us it is compromised.

You can close your account at any time from the account page. We may close an account that is used to break these terms.

Your documents stay yours

We claim no rights in anything you process. You keep every right you had. You confirm you are allowed to process the documents you submit, including any personal data they contain and any copyright in them.

What you may not do

Do not upload malware, do not try to break the limits, quotas or isolation, do not use the service to process material you have no right to, and do not attempt to reach another person's files or account. Automated bulk use outside the published limits is not permitted.

The unlock tool requires the password you already hold and an explicit confirmation that you are entitled to use it. There is no recovery, guessing or brute-force capability anywhere in the service, and asking for one is out of scope.

Availability

The service is offered as it is, without a guaranteed level of availability. Limits on file size, page count, processing time and daily volume apply and may change. Stored files are deleted on the schedule set out in the privacy notice; the service is not a backup or an archive, and you should keep your own copy.

What we do not promise

Document conversion is not lossless. Layout, fonts and structure may change, and text recognition may misread characters. Check every result before you rely on it.

The signature tool places a visible image on a page. It is not a qualified, advanced or cryptographic electronic signature, and no legal validity is claimed for it. Redaction removes content and re-images the affected pages; where a result cannot be verified, the job fails rather than returning a file.

Liability

Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death, personal injury, gross negligence or intent. Beyond that, and to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data you had no other copy of.

Changes and law

We may change these terms; the current version is always the one published here, and material changes are posted before they take effect. The law of [—] applies, without displacing any mandatory consumer protection you enjoy where you live.
